Stroll the lovely streets and bustling markets of colonial Antigua, the early capital of Guatemala. Enjoy the unbelievable views of the Volcano Agua, which towers over the city and whose eruptions destroyed the city in its earliest history.

Skim across Lake Atitlan, called the most beautiful lake in the world. Vivit the indigenous Maya villages of San Pedro, Santiago Atitlan, and Santa Catarina. Each village has its own language and distinctinve dress. In San Pedro, you'll meet Mariano Gonzalez Chavajay, one of the country's most famous indigenous painters.
